We’ve been presenting great rock and roll since 1986.
Here we are with a few thoughts about why we love it!

Hi there. I’ve been presenting on CPR since day one. I just enjoy sharing my love of music with whoever wants to listen. My philosophy is that the 1960’s produced the most imaginative music of the century and the 70’s expanded the boundaries. In my view, very few artists since then have been able to cross those lines. Reelin’ is our attempt to bring you as much of that great music as we can.

Like Chris, I’ve been behind the mic from our first day on air. Rock music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s was so innovative and full of unbridled enthusiasm that I doubt it can ever be repeated. On Reelin’ we play that great music and try to share with you the magic that is still with us.

I guess you could call me a folkie with a blues streak! I love the blues-rock era of the 60’s and 70’s so you’ll hear lots of Yardbirds, Doors, Steeleye Span, CCR, Janis, Donovan, Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac and a whole stack more!

I’m a Pommy Mongrel so that probably tells you a bit about which music I’m into. I love playing stuff from the Stiff label, plenty of punk, Van the Man and classic soul. But like the other presenters I’ll play a broad cross section of rock and roll on my programs - and I love to give some forthright opinions about it as well!

I’m the newest member of the Reelin’ team and I love Aussie rock from the 60’s. On my programs you’re bound to hear artists like Billy Thorpe, The Masters Apprentices and The Easybeats. My specialty is to highlight a year and play the classic tracks from that year.

PAST PRESENTERS
A big thank you to two past presenters. Bernie Keleher was an original presenter who was with us for over 10 years but left us for sunny Queensland. He was a great fan of brass rock and oddball outfits like the Bonzo Dog Do Dah Band. Now Bernie is a Bush Poet and he’s recorded one CD “A Laugh & A Joke Before I Croak” - check it out here:

Jed Price was with us for a few years but has also headed to warmer latitudes. Jed could play stuff like Steely Dan and Free forever!
